Today we were informed by Representative Health, that a hearing is expected to happen on March 13th. This is great news! We will update on this once more information is given. January 23-25th we met with legislators in Frankfort, Kentucky to talk with them about changing Kentucky's current law to allow all people to bake from home. We handed out cookies, cupcakes and information for them to consider about the cottage food industry. Representative Richard Heath agreed to sponsor our bill and the following week he filed House Bill 263: An act related to home-based food products.
